Children's Homes

Naba Asha Children's Home

Naba Asha was born out of the initiative of the Good News Center Inc, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to serving underprivileged children. Naba Asha, which means "New Hope" in the Odia language, began as two children's homes in Balangir in 1915. Despite serving the children and their communities for over 100 years, the two homes were on the verge of closure in 2021. However, new leadership took responsibility for the homes, and a new hope blossomed for the more than 130 children living there.

At Naba Asha, we believe in fighting back against poverty and creating a positive change in children and their families for the next 100 years. We provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children, where they can thrive and reach their full potential. Our dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that our children receive nutritious meals, healthcare, education, and love.

Our goal is to create a brighter future for our children, one where they can break the cycle of poverty and achieve their dreams. We believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances.

If you are looking for a way to make a positive impact in the lives of children, we invite you to support our mission. Your donation can help provide essential resources and services to the children at Naba Asha, giving them the tools they need to succeed and thrive. Together, we can create a better future for the children of Balangir and beyond. Thank you for your support.

Please consider partnering with the Good News Center in supporting the Children's Homes.
